Every year, billions of dollars worth of talent go to waste. Why? How is this possible? Because the American educational system fails to recognize and develop the talents of thousands of people. Truth is, our current educational system is stuck in the past, despite the fact that technology has changed the world. It’s time to change the way people learn. So anyone with talent can nurture it.
At Kaplan University, we’re committed to ending wasted talent in America. We know that the current traditional education system doesn’t work for everyone. For financial, personal, or situational reasons, not everyone can attend a traditional, four-year university right out of high school. And even those who can, don’t always get what they came for.
At Kaplan University, we strive to help non-traditional students – regardless of age, background, and experience – reach their goals and unlock their talent. This blog is a place for us to talk about innovative education – education that looks beyond the classroom, that incorporates exciting technology, and that’s personalized for the way you learn.
Our contributors are Kaplan University employees and others who are passionate about improving our educational system. But this blog is intended to be an open platform for idea generation and sharing. We welcome your comments and feedback, and we are excited to hear from you.
